Join Idaho Parks and Recreation and Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue for a FREE snowmobile based Avalanche Awareness Clinic. Jan 3 will be in the classroom at Driggs Firehouse and Jan 4 will be held in the field at Horseshoe Canyon.

River safety is SO important! Please join TCISAR and Swiftwater expert Lynsey Nunes for this two hour clinic. Participants are encouraged to come ready to get in the water and practice self rescue, bring their kayaks or paddle boards to simulate being pinned and what to do, or simply bring a chair and watch from shore.
This is an inclusive event for all ability levels and all ages.

Summer heat, fast elevation changes, cold water and thunderstorms are real hazards! Join us this Thursday, June 13th at 6:00 pm at Highpoint Cider to learn the signs and symptoms of these medical and weather emergencies and what to do.
What do you carry with you on a ride? Do you know how to use your repair kit? Come learn the essentials with TCISAR and Habitat.

On Saturday members from the Ops Team and the Foundation Board participated in the Touch A Truck event in Victor. The event allowed us to engage with parents and kids to show the gear and equipment the community has provided us and to talk about backcountry safety and what to do if you need our help.
